I read in absolute amazement a long winded piece from Abdulmajeed Abdulfatai – a where-belle-face young boy who is only clever by half – where he tried so much in vain to please his new master(s) by hurling series of abusive words on his old master(s). What a character, one can only say!
While one is entitled to changing camps frequently, the trait which is mostly found in those who are bereaved of good ideology, the smart ones among them always trend consciously to give them a kind of soft landing whenever they are ready to change camp again. This, Abdulmajeed Abdulfatai, who is only clever by half, failed to understand.
This is not even the bone of contention here but his laughable labor in vain where he did more than the ones he tried to castigate yet conveniently called them hypocrites whereas his hypocritical tone was very loud for all to hear – a kind of pot calling kettle black!
In his piece, he saw the major opposition party, PDP, calling his masters to their failure to come to the aid of some affected citizens who had earlier experienced unfortunate occurrences in the past whereas the same people, the ruling party(his masters), are always eager now to provide what they failed to do then simply because we are in an electioneering period, as a ploy to turn citizens against his masters. As a result, he unleashed his half-baked gibberish targeted, especially, on the person of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi (who was not the only Candidate of PDP to have visited the scene of the fire outbreak as at the time he released his gibberish) obviously because Omoluabi, who their camp and so called ‘money bag’ – who would make a very bad Senator should kwara Central, God forbid, make a mistake of electing him into Red chamber, because of his obvious incapacity – had earlier thought posed no threat is now gaining more strength each day thereby making them jittery. Should one need to tell them that no one would leave a high talented and very resourceful young man (Omoluabi) for their ‘money-bag’ candidate who not many can conveniently account for how he made his riches!
Should we also remind him and his masters, the agents of propaganda, that kwarans are now smarter than when they mischievously hid under Otoge Crusade to mislead and misinform many people to believe that their one-chance Government had better things to offer?!
And as a result, no one needs to use such thing against kwarans now who are much more informed to know that the ineptitude Government has done more harm than good to the development of Kwara State and they can not wait to ulcer out the “unfortunate Government, Ota Ara Ilu”?!
To the referenced Alanamu market’s unfortunate fire outbreak. Yes, it’s expected of a very serious opposition party to call the attention of any insensitive, incapacitated and irresponsive ruling party, like the one we have in Kwara State at the moment, which neglected its duty to come to the aid of its citizens only to turn out during electioneering when it needs their votes again. This was just what PDP did to capitalize on the ‘Sakamaje’ Government’s sudden benevolent attitude. PDP told the half smarted boy’s masters&party simply the truth, the truth every right conscience kwaran knows.
Should anyone need to tell him this?!
Funnily enough, the half smarted boy, indirectly, accepted that his party&masters erred to have failed to turn to the aid of the previously affected people in the state. At the same time, he only wanted the ‘opposition’ party to ‘praise’ his party&masters without referring to their previous negligence when election was not close as this.
In the same vein, he also tried to place down the efforts of the members of opposition party, PDP, who is following suit, despite not being in government, to come to the aid of the people of Alanamu market. Also, the half smarted boy faulted the opposition party because it also failed(let us just pretend his allegation is true), just as the ruling party, not to have gone to the aid of the previously affected people in the state but hypocritically forgot to praise the same opposition party to have been following suit now. How well can a HYPOCRITE be defined?!
And naively, the half smarted boy projected that Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON, would also follow suit. Does one need a soothsayer to tell him/her that Dr Saraki will definitely get in touch either in person or through delegates, putting his good antecedent, in this regard, into consideration?!
Let me use this opportunity to tell our boy, the half smarted one who is only clever by half, that the major work of ‘opposition’ party is to look for those loopholes, criticize them and possibly offer better ways to have handled/done so while the praise his left for/to his likes – the data boys – to do.
While we pray that Allah replenish the pockets of those who have turned to the aid of the people of Alanamu market, from all angles including opposition and ruling party(ies), His timely prevention of such occurrence in Alanamu and other places here and there, we should use this period to tell the good people of Alanamu and Kwara State in general that they should be wary of the return of “Sakamaje” Government. For “once bitten, twice shy”, they say.
