Kwara APC Senatorial Candidate, Saliu Mustapha is set to attend the debate organized by the Kwara State NUJ Correspondent chapel.
The debate which is the first in its series, is expected to hold on Monday, October 3 at the Mustapha Akanbi Hall, GRA Ilorin.
It will be recalled that the debate, which was earlier scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, postponed to allow more time for planning and confirm the availability of the candidates.
Mustapha, in a letter to the NUJ Correspondent Chapel, acknowledged receipt of the invitation letter and confirmed his readiness and attendance for the Debate.
According to Mustapha “I acknowledge the receipt of your letter inviting me to join other candidates running for the Kwara Central Senatorial district for a debate. I believe that the platform is a good opportunity for me to share my doing it differently plans for the people.
People have been talking about my philanthropic projects. But I believe this debate will afford them the opportunity to hear directly from me and know more about my manifesto and plans for Kwara Central and for Nigerians.
Please accept this as a confirmation of my readiness to attend the debate and my willingness to share my plans for the people of Kwara Central.” He said.
Mustapha further thanked the NUJ correspondent chapel for providing the opportunity, to advance a campaign that is issue based across party lines.
